Everyone needs to eat.
Food is one of those basic needs that connects us in our humanity, and at Morning Star’s Food Pantry, everyone is treated with dignity and respect. The pantry operates every first and third Tuesday of the month from 9-11 AM for residents of Doña Ana County, free of charge.
To register, clients are asked to share their name, zip code, city, state, the number of individuals in the household and the monthly household income. Clients are eligible to receive food at the Morning Star Pantry once per month. Participating households can expect to receive about 50 pounds of food each month, typically half fresh food and half dry goods.
Most of the food is provided by the Roadrunner Food Bank. Other resources include money from grants and generous donations from the church and community. More information about serving, donating or receiving food from the pantry may be obtained by calling 575.521.3770 or emailing pantry@mstarlc.church.
