Hey everyone
I hope you're having an amazing start to the week. It's hard to believe, but summer is quickly approaching! With that in mind, I want to make you all aware of some changes we are making this summer and invite you to attend an apologetic study with your student!
Over the past two years at The Crossing, I have had many conversations with your students about the Christian faith. Throughout these conversations, things such as creation, evolution, and the reliability of scripture, LGBTQ issues, and dinosaurs have repeatedly come up as questions among nearly all of our students.
We understand the biblical worldview and the answers to these questions are not something that is taught in school and is not something commonly taught within the church. With this in mind this summer we are offering a study on apologetics that is focusing on teaching the Christian worldview and how we cannot only answer these questions biblically but uses questions to help someone come to faith in Jesus Christ.
This study begins on Sunday, June 1, and will run for eight straight weeks until July 20th. It said he will take place on Sunday mornings in the youth building during the first service and is open to both you and your student study will replace our regular Sunday programming at Crossing students.
It is my hope that throughout the study, your student will be equipped to go and share the gospel within their school, sports teams, and friend groups. It is also my hope that you, as a parent, will be equipped to help your student think from a biblical worldview and that you will be able to help them answer any questions they have in the future using an apologetic method.
I am super excited for this study to begin, and I hope to see you there will be receiving more information from me about the apologetics study in the coming weeks, but for now, I hope that you will prayerfully consider joining us as a family on Sunday morning starting June 1.
Thanks, everyone.
Jacob
