FORE!! Make way for Wellspring’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament May 17th.
Wellspring has enjoyed a rich relationship with Hope of Life International for over two decades, joining in service to the people of Guatemala. In 2018 we started a golf tournament to help fund both mission team members fees and projects in the Guatemalan community. Last year’s tournament raised enough money to provide water filters for the entire village of El Sauce. Last year our team visited this village for the first time, and it quickly became apparent that one of the greatest needs in this community was clean water. Through the participation and generosity of Wellspring at our tournament last year this will now be possible, and illness will be curtailed for all of El Sauce. Information and brochures will be available in the café after service on May 11th.
What we will do next year will be directly impacted by how much money we are able to raise at the golf tournament. There will be raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and other fun activities. The cost per golfer is $150 which includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast and lunch. The lunch banquet is $50 for those not golfing but would like to join us for the post golf activities.
The golf tournament will be held on Saturday May 17th at Hawk’s Landing Country Club in Southington. Registration and breakfast start at 8 am. Shotgun start at 9 am. Buffet lunch at 2 pm.

If you are unable to participate in any of these ways remember we have our year-round fundraiser of collecting returnable cans and bottles to benefit their medical rescue program where you can assist.
