God appoints Ezekiel as a watchman to warn the people. God answers the objection that He is not just and then shows that the problem lies within the hearts of those who hear, but don’t do, what God says.
Israel’s leaders had failed to lead God’s way. God promises that there will be a day when He Himself will lead Israel as their Good Shepherd.
