Join us on Sunday, August 2nd as Calvary Loveland gathers at the Thompson River at the Larimer County Fairgrounds to celebrate one of the most joyful expressions of the Christian faith—water baptism.
Water baptism is a public declaration of an inward transformation. While baptism does not save us, it is an act of obedience to Jesus Christ and a beautiful testimony that we have placed our faith in His death, burial, and resurrection. As we are lowered into the water, it symbolizes our old life being buried with Christ. As we are raised from the water, it pictures the new life we have received through Him. It is an outward expression of the new life God has already accomplished within us through faith in Jesus Christ.
If you have trusted Christ as your Savior but have never been baptized as a believer, we encourage you to take this important step of faith. Whether you recently came to Christ or have been walking with Him for years, baptism is a wonderful opportunity to publicly proclaim your love for the Lord and your commitment to follow Him.
If you would like to be baptized, please click the registration link below and sign up. We will contact you with all the details and answer any questions you may have as you prepare for this special day.
Even if you are not being baptized, we encourage our entire church family to join us! Come worship with us, celebrate alongside those being baptized, and witness the life-changing work God is doing in the hearts of His people. There are few moments more encouraging than watching brothers and sisters publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ.
We look forward to celebrating this special day together as we rejoice in what God has done and continues to do through the transforming power of the Gospel.
