Hamas has informed mediators that it will not enter negotiations with Israel until the humanitarian situation in Gaza improves, according to two sources who spoke with The Jerusalem Post

Israel has issued a formal response to a position paper sent by Hamas several days ago, where Israeli officials made it clear they reject Hamas’s demand to release live terrorists in exchange for the bodies of hostages.

...if there is no progress in the coming days on a deal to release the hostages, Israel may be forced to take further action on the ground.

May be forced? They will have no choice...Hamas will not give in... Fighting will continue again soon...

Headline 3 Israeli official: Iran-backed groups planning attacks from southern Syria (Israel HaYom)

According to the official, negotiations are underway between Israel and the regime over the demilitarization of the area, including the establishment of a timetable.

The Saudi-owned Al Arabiya channel reported Wednesday, citing an Israeli official, that "there are warnings that Iran-affiliated groups intend to carry out terrorist attacks from southern Syria."

This is not surprising because of the gaping holes left in the security of Syria's southern border with Israel. Iran may try to attack, but they are a paper tiger. Though still attempting to attack Israel from every conceivable angle they continue to be a laughing stock.

MK Amir Ohana causes stir at Inter-Parliamentary Union summit in Geneva when he shows video of crowd in Iran shouting 'death to Israel,' suggests Palestinian state be established in London and Paris.

During the Global Parliamentary Summit today (Wednesday), hosted at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana addressed dozens of parliamentary leaders from around the world. The Iranian, Yemeni, and Palestinian Authority stormed out of the summit when Ohana got up to speak.

Ohana harshly criticized Western recognition of a Palestinian state, saying: “Rewarding Hamas with statehood will not bring stability, partnership, or peace. It will only lead to more bloodshed of Israelis and Jews. If you want to establish what you call a Palestinian state - establish it in London, Paris, in your own countries - which are increasingly resembling the Middle East.”

At the height of his speech, Ohana displayed an iPad and screened footage from a session of the Iranian Parliament held this past June, in which members were seen chanting “Death to Israel, death to America.”

“This is not some underground terrorist cell. This is the official parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran - a full member of this forum - openly calling for the annihilation of two sovereign nations. Sadly, too many remain silent in the face of such threatening rhetoric, just as they did eighty years ago,” Ohana said.

He is correct, of course, Iran’s main goal is the eradication of the state of Israel. We know from Scripture that this will never happen. Israel will indeed continue to exist though attacked mercilessly from every side.

God has promised to protect them in spite of their present unbelief.

So far, there has not been any renewed fighting between the U.S. and Iran even though the blockade is in place. We will definitely keep an eye on this. In addition, we seemingly have the U.S. and Iran about to go back to the bargaining table in Pakistan. The situation is certainly fluid and unpredictable with some very worrisome aspects to what is now taking place... Report: US, Iran teams may return to Islamabad for new talks (Israel HaYom) Iran rejects 20-year enrichment moratorium; Vance says talks advanced (YNET) Rehabilitation before disarmament: Gaza reconstruction is already underway (Israel HaYom) It seems that the United States has not learned anything from the “deal” made with Hamas in Gaza. Recall, last October when the agreement was made Hamas was supposed to immediately disarm as they promised? They have not done so and here we are in April! These people do not keep their world. Why should anyone believe that it would be different with Iran? They could agree to not enrich uranium, to not pursue a nuclear weapon, etc. while, at the same time, continue their quest for the ultimate destruction of both the U.S. and Israel. The goals of this regime have never changed and never will. Add to this, the present ceasefire is giving them a chance to regroup and resupply. If the fighting does end now with an agreement, then NONE of the original goals of the war have been met. The evil and murderous regime remains in place where they can still terrorize and murder their own people, especially Christians. The people of Iran would lose all hope for a regime change. President Trump has just said that he wants to see Iran become a normal country. It is IMPOSSIBLE for this to happen with the present regime. There is no new leadership, there is no new regime! In fact, as we documented the other day from an Israel study, the present leadership is worse than the one that was just destroyed. However, it seems the U.S. is trying to do everything to keep it in place. It makes no sense whatsoever! Vice President JD Vance said "There is a grand deal to be made here, but it's up to the Iranians to take the next step." In an interview with Fox News, Vice President JD Vance said progress had been made on the US demand to remove nuclear material from Iran and create a mechanism to ensure uranium would not be enriched in the future. He said the Iranians had "moved toward us," and suggested the Iranian negotiating team had not been authorized to "cut deals" without approval from Tehran. Vance added that President Donald Trump would like to see Iran behave like "a normal country" with a functioning economy, and concluded: "I think there is a grand deal to be made here, but it's up to the Iranians to take the next step." There is NO grand deal that the Islamic Republic of Iran would keep! Headline Iran rejects 20-year enrichment moratorium; Vance says talks advanced (YNET) .... The New York Times reported, citing two senior Iranian officials and one U.S. official, that the U.S. asked Iran during the Islamabad talks to halt uranium enrichment for 20 years and that Tehran responded Sunday by offering to suspend enrichment for up to five years. It doesn’t matter if they would agree to wait 100 years, they are going to break their promises as they always have. Headline 3 Rehabilitation before disarmament: Gaza reconstruction is already underway (Israel Hayom) While Israel insists on linking rehabilitation to Hamas's disarmament, Qatar and the UN are already clearing rubble, paving roads, and drilling water wells across the Gaza Strip. Simply put, no disarmament, Hamas remains in charge, gearing up for more terrorist attacks on Israel in the future. One commentator explained it perfectly... Agreements mean nothing to these people. Will the West ever learn? It certainly doesn’t seem so... We know from Scripture that Iran will still be linked to Russia in the future. It appears that the failure of the U.S. to finish the job in this war will allow the relationship between these two countries to continue and flourish. This is one possible outcome of the war. Sultan Al-Jaber, the UAE’s Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, stated on Sunday that the waterway has never been under Iranian control in a way that would allow them to legally close or restrict international shipping. Al-Jaber emphasized that any attempt by Tehran to interfere with the flow of trade through the strait is not just a regional war but a direct attack on the global economy. By framing the issue as a threat to "global energy, food, and health security," the UAE is positioning itself as a firm opponent of Iran’s attempt to use the waterway as a tool for political extortion. This is a hugely important point. Iran has no right to control this waterway, never has. Now we wait to see what happens. BREAKING: Trump Puts Naval Blockade on Strait of Hormuz (N12 JFEED) Trump has seen straight through Iran and its negotiating trick and has now taken a shocking step. President Donald Trump unleashed a scathing attack on Iran Sunday, accusing the regime of breaking its promise to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and deliberately causing global economic chaos. In a strongly worded statement, Trump wrote: “Iran promised to open the Strait of Hormuz, and they knowingly failed to do so. This caused anxiety, dislocation, and pain to many people and countries throughout the world. They say they put mines in the water, even though all of their Navy, and most of their ‘mine droppers,’ have been completely blown up. They may have done so, but what ship owner would want to take the chance? There is great dishonor and permanent harm to the reputation of Iran, and what’s left of their ‘Leaders,’ but we are beyond all of that. As they promised, they better begin the process of getting this INTERNATIONAL WATERWAY OPEN AND FAST! Every Law in the book is being violated by them.” Trump then issued a blunt warning: “IRAN IS UNWILLING TO GIVE UP ITS NUCLEAR AMBITIONS! Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL! Iran knows, better than anyone, how to END this situation which has already devastated their Country.
