Bearing Fruit: Part 1

Speaker: Rev. Ho-Ming Tsui

Scripture: Acts 1:6-8

Where there is energy, there will be activity

1. Energy (v.8a)

Two ways to understand the power of the Holy Spirit:

a. We are given the ability to do what we were made to do (capacity)

b. We have assurance of who we are (security)

Where there is activity, apply strategy.

2. Activity (v. 8b)

a. Our Jerusalem: Richmond Hill and Markham

Goal: Everyone would have a chance to hear and respond to the gospel

Strategy: Share our lives with our neighbours

b. Our Judea and Samaria: Greater Toronto Area

Goal: To make our city a more beautiful and vibrant place

Strategy: Serve the people of the city

c. Our “Ends of the Earth”

Goal: Be a church blessing the whole world

Strategy: Strengthen partnerships with local churches around the globe
