The Woman at the Well

Recently, I had to ask myself a hard question: Would I trust God's ways when they made no sense to me, and I really didn't want to obey anyway? The Samaritan Woman at the well (John 4:1-38) reminds us we can all be thankful for opportunities to repeat classes in character development until we are transformed by the Holy Spirit's power. We grow by successfully mastering tests, temptations, trials and challenges. Our characters mature as the fruit of the Spirit ripens within our hearts and minds (Galatians 5:22, 23).
