Jesus agrees with the Father. He has completed all that the Father had given Him to do. Now, He requests that the Father be glorified as He submits Himself to His will by taking on the shame of the cross and the glory of resurrection.

Jesus’ primary motive in life was to glorify God. He lived for Him, trusting His plan and timing of events.
