Art Journaling

June 22, 2019 from 9:00am - 12:00pm EDT

Want to explore and express yourself, the world, and God in new ways? Join other men and women in the Lobby at Atlanta Westside to Art Journal on Saturday, June 22. We will provide a brief intro at 9:15am, but please come and go as you'd like from 9am-12pm.  What is Art Journaling? Art or visual journaling is a process of combining words, images, and art to explore questions to which you are seeking answers, record events, keep memories, express deep emotions, or create. The number one rule about Art Journaling is... there are NO rules. Everyone has a creative side; you do not need to consider yourself "artistic." Art supplies will be provided; however, donations are appreciated. Feel free to bring music/headphones and anything else that might spark thoughts for you. Contact Laura Dilly for more details at ljdilly@gmail.com.

Westside 101

June 30, 2019 from 2:30 - 5:00pm EDT

Every quarter, we offer an inquirer's class that called Westside 101. This upcoming session will be hosted by our Senior Pastor, Walter Henegar. The class is ideal for those considering membership or just curious to know more about our church. Attendance does not commit you to the membership process, but it's a nice first step should you decide to head in that direction. Likewise, even if you've recently joined the church, you are still welcome to attend the class to learn more about Westside. ---- To attend, please RSVP via the link below.

Summer Series: Enneagram - Becoming Us

July 18, 2019 from 7:00 - 10:00pm EDT

Gather in our new space in a relaxed summer pace to enjoy thought-provoking topics with interesting presenters. Join us for our third summer series event, Becoming Us Live: The Enneagram & The Gospel. The Enneagram is a personal growth tool based on nine basic personality types. It identifies your core fears and motivations and then explains how those desires shape the particular way you think, feel, and behave. The Enneagram is an excellent resource to understand yourself and others better. Take a free assessment at www.yourenneagramcoach.com to give you more insight into the Enneagram. Though Beth and Jeff McCord of Your Enneagram Coach will be speaking from the story of their marriage, the event will show us how to serve, communicate, resolve conflict, and lay the foundation for thriving relationships, whether you’re single, dating, or married. Attendees will receive a prerelease copy of the McCords’ marriage book. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit live.becomingus.com. --- For more information or if you want to help volunteer, contact Kari Kennedy kari.kennedy@cru.org or Ashley Svagdis ashley.svagdis@gmail.com. Registration opens May 4 to Westsiders (General public on 5/7). Use promo code WESTSIDE to get $5 off. **If you need childcare for this event, please consider using Sitter Tree.
