Officer Elections

April 28, 2019 at 12:30pm EDT

---- You must be a Westside member to vote. Anyone is free to attend. ---- We are nearing the end of a year-long process of nominating (last Spring), identifying those nominees who were interested in pursuing candidacy (last Summer), and training (over the Fall and Winter months) new candidates for the offices of Elder and Deacon. The final step will be the election of these candidates by the members of the church. The election is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th, at a congregational meeting to immediately follow the worship service. However, before the election takes place, we want all members to have a chance to review the candidates. To that end, we will host three Meet & Greet opportunities before the service at 10am on April 7th and April 14th. Westside, these men and women are those you are choosing to lead and guide you and we hope that you take this responsibility as a member of the church to pray for each of these candidates and to choose wisely.

Westside 101

April 28, 2019 from 2:30 - 4:30pm EDT

Every quarter, we offer an inquirer's class that called Westside 101. This upcoming session will be hosted by our Senior Pastor, Walter Henegar, in his home just a mile from the church. The class is ideal for those considering membership or just curious to know more about our church. Attendance does not commit you to the membership process, but it's a nice first step should you decide to head in that direction. Likewise, even if you've recently joined the church, you are still welcome to attend the class to learn more about Westside. ---- To attend, please RSVP via the email below.

Redeemer City to City

May 1, 2019 from 7:00 - 8:30pm EDT

Join other Atlantans in their 30's and 40's and Redeemer City to City (CTC) as we discuss 'Gospel-Changed Work: What Does it Look Like?' featuring Katherine Leary Alsdorf. Katherine is the co-author with Tim Keller of Every Good Endeavor, co-founder and interim Executive Director of the Center for Faith & Work and VP of Faith & Work at City to City. We will begin with drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres, followed by Katherine leading a discussion on how the gospel changes our work in this unique stage of life. ---- For those of you who are not able to attend this event on Wednesday evening, below are two breakfast events addressing the same topic that we'd love for you to attend instead: Gospel-Changed Work: What Does it Look Like?
