“The God of All Comfort” 2 Corinthians 1:3–5 (NIV) “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” No one but the Lord truly knows the depth of your pain, the silent tears, or the ache of loss. Yet, in His mercy, He brings others alongside you—those who have walked a similar path—to remind you that you are not alone. The Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Wonderful Counselor, works through these connections to strengthen and uphold you. At the Widows Ministry of Church of New Hope, we believe in the healing power of shared experience and Spirit-led encouragement. We minister to widows with compassion, walking together in hope, offering the same comfort we have received from the Lord. You are seen. You are loved. You are not forgotten.
This is a great time to share in a meal togther and make new friends at Church.

2 Cor.1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow to us, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.
