As a pianist, composer, arranger, and author, James has a diverse musical background that inspires his teaching (and playing!) of classical and jazz piano, composition, arranging, and improvisation. Loughers holds a BM in Piano Performance from the University of Indianapolis and an MM in Composition from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).

Music Live at Lunch is a free, weekly concert series featuring a variety of music. Bring your own lunch or buy one at the cathedral. When Cincinnati Public Schools close due to inclement weather, Music Live at Lunch will also be canceled.

Convenient parking is located in the Queen City Square Garage across the street from the cathedral’s Fourth Street entrance.
