Muffins, and Marine Life at Mukilteo Day Field Trip Friday, May 9th

8:30 am—Join us in the classroom for Mother’s Day celebrations. 🌷

9:30 am—Students leaving for the field trip (and their adults) will depart from HCA and head to Mukilteo Beach at 609 Front St, Mukilteo, WA 98275-1557. Parking is $2.50 in the adjacent lot.

*Remaining students will engage in ocean-themed lessons in our ocean-themed classroom until 12:30.

10:00 am-12:00 pm—Explore the rocky beach and tide pools by the old-fashioned white lighthouse at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park. We aim to reach the pools by 10 AM, at least half an hour before the peak of low tide, and stay for at least an hour and a half before the tide starts to rise noticeably. 🏖️

12:30 pm—After lunch, if your child attends full-day and plans on returning after the field trip, teachers will be back at this time. Some moms prefer to spend the rest of the day at the seaside or at one of the nearby restaurants or ice cream shops, which is totally fine as well. 🌊
