We know that having a child with special needs is challenging for both parents and siblings. We provide an opportunity for families to drop off their kids for a fun time at church while they have a "Respite." A typical Respite includes having age appropriate groups for kids and setting up fun games to get them moving! There are crafts and sensory activities to celebrate the current season and we enjoy pizza at the end of the afternoon! We invite you and your family to volunteer to make this afternoon special for all our families who participate. Volunteers work as buddies in the groups, lead the groups, or help with the activities. This is a fun and active time with typical kids and kids with special needs from infants to young adults. We invite you to serve as a family with your own kids 11+ years old.
