Live Well Walking Club

Live Well will begin our Spring Walking Club! All women in our community are invited to join us Friday mornings from April 4 to May 30 at 10 AM at Livingood Park in Elverson for fresh air, fellowship and exercise. Good Works Work Day

Good Works is a local home repair ministry. They exist to extend the love of Jesus Christ to low-income homeowners by making their homes warmer, safer and drier. Typically meeting the first Saturday of every month (unless there is a holiday weekend), a team of Hopewell volunteers gather together to serve with the ministry in the surrounding communities. There is also a need for meals to be made for the team of volunteers and the homeowners. If you would like to prepare a meal to feed 8-10 people, you can sign up. Belong

Kenya Missions Trip Fundraiser

This will be an after-church meal to raise funds for this summer's mission trip to Living Love Ministries in Ol Kalau, Kenya. The team is traveling to spend time sharing the love of Jesus with the children and staff of the three Living Love children's homes. By supporting the team people can invest in building the Kingdom and practicing the "true religion" James wrote about by caring for widows and orphans. There is no fixed price on the hoagie, donate what you can to help the mission team. Hoagie options are Italian, American, ham and turkey. You can place your order online or the day of in person. Place your order online by April 4. Pick up will be after church on April 6. You can pick up your hoagie after the respective service you attend. For more information, contact Pastor Rick.

Hope Rescue Mission

Volunteer to serve at Hope Rescue Mission the first Monday of each month. Hopewell Church provides a meal and service for homeless men at Hope Rescue Mission. Ways you can get involved include cooking casseroles to drop off, delivering and serving the meals in Reading at Hope Rescue Mission. For information on food and serving, contact Shelva Cohick. Coffee with the Pastors

Every second Tuesday of the month, you are invited to join our pastors for a time of light refreshments over some coffee. This is a relaxed setting where you can connect with our pastors to get to know them more personally, ask questions you may have about faith, marriage, parenting and life, and hear more about what's going on around Hopewell. J.O.Y. Luncheon

Anyone over the age of 55 is invited to share a time of food and fellowship. John Ames will be speaking on how Seniors work in the Mission Field. Bring a covered dish or 2 to share. A Messianic Passover Experience

April 17, 2025 from 7:00 - 8:30pm EDT

As a part of our Holy Week, families are invited to attend an authentic Seder experience. We will be taking time to reflect on the cultural significance of Jesus' final meal with His disciples. This is not a full meal, merely an experience. This event will not be live streamed or recorded as it is a participation event. This is also April's Hopewell Family Night! The nursery will be open but unstaffed for parents with younger children. Elementary kids are invited to participate in the Seder Please RSVP by April 6 so we know how much food to prepare.

Good Friday Service

Join us for Good Friday service. We will reflect on the greatest expression of love through Jesus's suffering on the cross. Part of the evening's reflection will include the Stations of the Cross. Come between 6 and 6:50 to pray and contemplate as displays help us focus on Jesus' last moments and that tell our story redemption. We are looking for individuals who are interested in creating and executing the Stations. If you are interested, please contact Jonathan Redford. The evening will include taking communion together in remembrance. The nursery will be staffed for parents of younger children. There will also be a program for pre-school students. This will be available for both the Stations of the Cross and the service.

So stay a little later after the first service or come a little early to second for some snacks and fellowship. Hopewell Summer Camps Fundraiser

Support Hopewell Summer Camps! Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards scholarship programs for Hopewell Summer Camps. Scholarships financially assist families to send their kids to camp. Hopewell Summer Camps are a life changing experience and leave a lasting impact on the students who go. You can help make that happen by getting a stuffed potato with your favorite toppings! A side and dessert will be included in the meal. Takeout options are available after both services. We are also offering seated service in the Gathering Place after each service. Dinner For Eight

Dinner For Eight is when 8 people get together for 4 dinners over 4 months with the purpose of getting to know one another better through fellowship. That's it! The groups can be flexible. There can be 7 or 9 people, more than 4 meals, not necessarily supper, and you can take longer than 4 months if necessary. Your group can coordinate your meeting schedule, fellowship plans, and meeting location to what works best for all of you. Getting to know people on a deeper level can be intimidating. This program pairs you up with others who are looking to be intentional in building relationships with others in the congregation. As part of getting to know each other, it is recommended that each group alternates meeting in their different group member's homes. Register by April 28. Groups will launch the beginning of May. Bereaved Mothers Luncheon

Whether they were young, old, preborn or even a foster child that fell through the adoption process, this will be a time for mothers to honor their lost children prior to Mother’s Day.
