Jonathan and Maria Strickland received their AIM appointment in 1995, Intermediate Missionary appointment in 1999, and Career Missionary appointment in 2006. The Stricklands served in Greece from 1996 to 2012, where they were pastor of The Crossroads Church in Athens. They also served as Youth President and Athens Area Presbyter for the national work there. The Strickland family changed fields in 2014 to Ireland. Since arriving in Ireland, the Stricklands have planted four churches and have served as the Northern District Superintendent of the UPC of Great Britain and Ireland for six years. Upon returning to the field, it is the Stricklands’ vision to formally install the local pastors they have trained into the existing churches in which they have planted, continue to plant new churches, and work in unity with the vision of the UPCGBI.
