Good Friday Tenebrae Service

Holy Week

April 3, 2026
7:00 - 8:30pm

Please join us on Friday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m. in Jackson Hall, with the Chamber Choir singing Bach's Cantata 4, Handel's Chandos Anthem No. 3, Vivaldi's Credo, and congregational hymns, accompanied by the North Carolina Baroque orchestra. The Tenebrae ("darkness") service, traditionally held on Good Friday evening, serves as a time to consider Christ's suffering and death. To that end, our musicians will present three masterworks of the Baroque era as reflections on Christ's atoning work.

Please be mindful that there are no childcare accommodations for this event.
