You are invited to our Youth Group Formal to be held on Saturday, May 3rd. 

This year’s formal activities include:

- Group pictures and appetizers at the Church Lobby at 12:00pm

- Oregon Zoo (Elephant Ears, etc)         

- 4:00pm Start of Progressive Dinner and Games

Apps & Salad/Game

Main Entre/Game

Dessert

- Event Ends at 10:00pm (Church)

We meet at the church at 12:00pm (Parents are welcome to come and take pictures at this time). We will have beverages and appetizers. From the church, everyone will go to the Oregon Zoo. There we will see the new elephant, have elephant ears, and enjoy all the animals. Maybe even a train or carrousel ride. Around 5:00pm we start our Progressive Dinner and Games. There are 2 destinations with 2 Game themes, which will be decided later. We then end up at the church for dessert and games till 10:00pm. The total cost for the evening is $60 per person which covers the transportation, pictures, dinner, and activities. Since some of our activities are outdoors, if the weather is not good, we may change some of them.

The purpose of this formal is to first honor our graduates and celebrate the end of the school year. We also hope the evening will provide you with a unique opportunity to experience socializing in a formal setting and to make a very special memory with your youth group friends. This is not a “dating” event.

So, what would be the proper attire for this evening? Formal attire encouraged because this is a formal event. Also, since we will be walking several blocks so you all may want to consider bringing comfortable footwear.
