Join us for dinner and a night of worship with the Brothers of Praise. The Brothers of Praise gospel group was established in 1995 when two members of our church choir (Pilgrim Rest BC) saw that the local male gospel group, The Lincoln Parish Male Chorus, was getting older and there needed to be some younger men coming in to sing praises to God if the group decided to retire. We will celebrate 30 years together in March. We have performed on the Earnie Miles show on KNOE tv, and in churches in Dallas, TX, Kansas City, Kansas, Hampton, South Carolina, Atlanta Underground in Atlanta, Georgia, and 10 plus years at the Louisiana Peach Festival. Our members consist of young men from the ages of 5-100. We sing hymns and contemporary gospel music. We come to lift up the name of Jesus and to compel others to come to Jesus.
