Discipleship Training at NCC.
You have been invited to attend our Discipleship training intensive at NCC. You are invited due to your involvement at NCC and your desire to continue to learn more about what God has called us to as disciples.
What to expect:
Dinner kicks off the beginning of the event, going into training after dinner. Saturday will begin with breakfast and go into training until about 3pm. Lunch will also be served. Specific start times will be communicated at a later date. Provided will be food, drinks, snacks, workbooks, pens, and other needed supplies. Please bring a Bible and any other note taking supplies, if desired.
The training itself will be a mixture of large group and small group environments. You will be prayerfully assigned to a small group with roughly 10 others, including a facilitator. If your spouse is attending with you, you will be placed in the same small group.
Prerequisites:
In order to maximize our time together, we require all participants to engage in at least one of the following to ensure basic terminology and principle understanding is in place, prior to the start of the training:
1. Read - Church is a Team Sport by Jim Putman (recommended)
2. Read - Discipleshift by Jim Putman (recommended)
3. Watch - Series of videos provided (roughly 80 minutes total)
