What a profound thing it is to read of Jesus' prayer for us today. Wrapped within it are 2 main concerns that Jesus asks God the Father for. First, that believers would have complete unity with one another, as God the Father and God the Son share. Second, that this unity among believers would be a testimony to the world about the gospel message. Reading these words, it is incumbent upon Jesus' followers to take him seriously; that if we want to see Jesus' glory, then we need to make Jesus' reconciliation our priority.
