Each month, the program would be approximately 1-hour
long and consist of:
• Welcoming remarks
• Opening prayer
• Congregational hymn singing using our songbook
(15-20 minutes)
• Presenting a 10-15 minute homily
• Closing song
• Closing prayer
• Personal visitation and prayer with residents as
appropriate
We welcome members of all ages (including Pathfinders/
Adventurers), to join us and sing or play along with guitars,
ukuleles, violins, etc., (We are also open to Special Music
presentations).
I would also like to give the opportunity to any
Mentone member, especially the youth/ young adults/
collegiate who would like to try his/her hand at
presenting the homily.
