Child dedication is a commitment by parents to raise their child in a faith-centered environment. By dedicating their child, parents express their intention to nurture their child in the teachings and values of Jesus. This act of dedication signifies a recognition of God's role in the child’s life and an acknowledgment of the divine blessing and guidance sought for the child's future. This ceremony is not only about the individual family but also about the church community. While it serves as a public declaration of the parents’ commitment, it also invites the support and accountability of the church family.
