Session 4 - Life Groups and Evangelism

We are all called to be sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those God has placed around us, but it should not be an individual activity. As Paul goes out to share the gospel, he takes others with him to encourage and help him as he shares the gospel. As Life Groups we need to be encouraging and supporting each other in practical ways as we share the gospel with our friends and neighbors.

Session 3 - Life Groups and Discipleship

Being a disciple of Jesus means that we are transforming both our minds and our actions to be more like Him everyday. As Life Groups we want to be encouraging one another in our discipleship and we need to recognize that this requires more than a half-hour discussion every week. Discipleship is bigger than our Life Groups and so we need to consider how to build and encourage one another in our pursuit of holiness.

True Christian Fellowship is more than just small talk after a church service, it is an expression of the love that God has for us in sending us Jesus. It is at the cross that we are united together, no matter the background, and so as Christians we are called to express this kind of unity. As Life Groups we want to develop Christian Fellowship that puts on display the gospel as we care for one another spiritually and practically.

Session 1 - Life Groups and the Church

The gathering of the entire church and the smaller gathering of believers in homes are intended to work together to accomplish what God calls us as Christians to be doing. This means that the purpose of our Life Groups compliments and blesses the church as we engage in Fellowship, Discipleship, and Evangelism. Life Groups are intended to work with and build up the rest of the Church.
