As we welcome the season of Advent, we remind ourselves of the promises God has made and kept in Christ. As we travel alongside of fellow story-tellers Jeremiah, Zechariah, Mary, and John, we look for Jesus Christ, the fulfilment of what God has promised. And in Jesus, our King, we choose to stand in His truth, peace, joy, and love this season. 

This morning we lean in and listen to the prophet Jeremiah say to people in need of a word of hope: "I will fulfill the promise I made... in those days." Join us as we begin this Advent season by listening to a word of hope for the weary world in which we live.
