Promotion Sunday is May 25th!

This means all kids will begin attending their new classes based on the grade they’ll enter in the fall.

Promotion Sunday Details for Specific Age Groups: 

Kids going into 6th grade:

Preteens will be dropped off in their current classroom on May 25 (Preteen Room - A234). During class, they will be escorted by Matt Kirkpatrick, our Student Minister, to Student Ministry for their first visit. They’ll stay in the Student building until service is over. After this Sunday, the Student building will be their new location if they attend the 9:30 Intergenerational Class option for students moving forward!

K-4th grades: On May 25th, they will be dropped off in your new classroom.

Preschool:

If your child is going into kindergarten in the fall, you may have to go to the manned check-in to have them added to the kindergarten group. Since we do not know for sure which kids will go into kindergarten from our preschool class, this is the best way to ensure your kids go to the right place for class on Sunday.

Nursery: All kids will be moving up to their new rooms today—except for the nursery, which moves up on a needs-based schedule. That means your nursery-aged child may not transition to the PreK room just yet. If you’re unsure whether your child is moving up, please connect with Sarah Scheeser (sscheeser@bscc.org), our Early Childhood Associate. She leads our nursery program and is happy to answer any questions.
