Colorado Mission Trip

July 12 - 18, 2025

Students and Young Adults! Join us as we partner with God in taking His gospel to one of our partner churches in Longmont, Colorado. This upcoming summer we will be serving alongside Pastor Doug Hixon at Connection Church to reach their community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This Domestic trip will offer the comfort of traveling within the states, while also challenging you to love people and share the gospel with them daily. All the details will be listed below. We hope you’ll begin praying about participating and if the Lord calls, that you respond by saying, “Here I am Lord, use me!”

Where: Longmont, Colorado @ Connection Church (About 40 min. from Denver International Airport)

When: Saturday July 12th - Friday July 18th

What: A trip with a singular mission to reach people, grow together, and serve God’s church in Colorado. Here are a few things we’ll be doing: Set-Up and Tear Down for Weekend Services and Weekday Block Parties in Longmont, Canvassing local communities with invitations to daily block parties in public parks, engaging (listening & responding) those who show up for block parties with the love of Christ and looking for opportunities to share God’s story with them.

This may seem relatively simple to you or it may seem like a daunting climb but it means the world to Connection Church. We are the hands and feet to this church each week of the summer. There will be hundreds of people who come through these block parties during the summer and you will have the opportunity to share the best news of a lifetime with those you interact with.

Why: “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 ESV

This is not something we should do, it is something we should be. It is God’s vision for our life and maybe He wants to do a transforming work in your heart through this trip.
