This class is inspired by the book Art + Faith, A Theology of Making by Makoto Fujimura. Exploring our spiritual growth through art and creativity can add a dimension to our faith life that we may not have experienced previously. Each session of Art + Faith will engage participants by teaching new art techniques and discussion of how the process of creating deepens our spiritual growth. 

What does “The Kingdom of God” evoke for you? This semester we will be focusing on exploring the theme of the Kingdom of God through our art. Jesus spoke a great deal about the Kingdom of God in his teachings. Working from this theme we can use art to explore a deeper understanding of God’s Kingdom.
