🏔️ ALASKA - Youth Summer Trip 🏔️
July 20 - 28, 2026 CDT
This summer, we are heading to... (*drumroll please*).... beautiful ALASKA! Yes, you read that right.... ALASKA!!
In the past, we have sort of joked around about how awesome it would be to go to Alaska and see our old youth friends Harold & Lorissa Jackson.... well this year, it's possible!
When: July 20-28
Cost: $550 for youth
(A $100 deposit will reserve their spot)
How? ... Especially for that price?? Three main reasons:
1) We have had a very generous church family who believes in the value and impact that youth ministry has on the lives of our children. They came to me with the idea to have an unforgettable, spiritually formative opportunity and have offered to covered the extra expense of flights to Alaska so that no youth that has a desire to go is left behind. (We offer our heartfelt thanks to their generosity!)
2) We know a couple of Alaskians (Harold & Lorissa)... who are helping us with lodging, service opportunities, and other activities!
3) Our church always invests in the discipleship of our youth through its budget - the church helps subsidizes all of our trips.
All of this, coupled with extra fundraising, will get us there!
What about parents??
If you are interested in going as a parent leader, we ask that you register as well - on the registration page, there is an option for "Adult Leader". It is listed as free, but that it only because we do not yet know the price for adults. The adult price will be higher than the youth price, because the priority of the discount goes to youth. Once we have a better idea of numbers, we will determine an adult price.
