Hi HF Family and Friends, Our world and society are rapidly changing. It is not easy to stay abreast of everything and, even more importantly, assess, discern, and process all that is happening. In our effort to stay alert to the times in which we live, the elders invited Eric Russell to share with us his insights as to some of the current events. Mr. Russell's national and international business and travel provide him with a scope of perspective we found beneficial. His being a committed follower of Jesus Christ and living with a biblical worldview is foundational in his understanding of our current events. Please mark your calendars; we invited Mr. Russell to share with our HF family the same presentation he gave to the elders. The HF elders will host an "Alert to the Times" symposium on Monday, October 9, from 6:45 to 8:15 pm. Our country and culture are in a spiritual war. There is a move to gain control of your information, health, God-given rights and freedoms, wealth, food, personal movements, and more. Mr. Russell will address the topics 1) Freedom of Speech and Flow of Information, 2) Health and the government agencies desiring to exert control, 3) Energy, 4) Food, and 5) Wealth. Most importantly, Mr. Russell will provide practical steps of action for us to consider for the times we live. Below is a brief bio on Eric Russell: Eric Russell is the Founder of Revalesio Corporation. After acquiring the technology in 2004, Eric led the strategic development of Revalesio as the company’s Chairman and CEO over the next twelve years. Revalesio is in late-stage human trials for treating ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. They have a significant trial just completed for the treatment of stroke. It is the first drug in FDA history with no toxicity. Before founding Revalesio, Eric served in various roles at the Frank Russell Company, including President of Frank Russell Investment Management Company from 1996-2000, and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Assets in the investment business more than tripled under his leadership, and he was one of four executives negotiating the sale of the company to Northwestern Mutual in 1999. Eric also served on the Board of Tiedemann Advisors (2018-2022) after leading the strategic sale of the Russell family’s multifamily wealth management company, Threshold Group, to Tiedemann Advisors in 2017. Eric is a founding board member of The Russell Family Foundation and most recently served as Board President (2018-2020). He and his wife Marcee established Provision, a 501(c)3 in 2021, focusing primarily on sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Environmental Science from Williams College in Massachusetts (1984) and an MBA at the UW Foster School of Business (1990).
