On Christmas Eve at 4:00 PM, we gather as a church family for a special time of worship and celebration. The service includes the Lord's Supper, a Walk to the Manger tradition where we bring our offerings forward to support the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, and worship that reflects the joy and peace of the season. It’s a beautiful opportunity to come together, celebrate the birth of Christ, and give generously to missions around the world.
Walk to the Manger is a beloved Christmas Eve tradition at First Baptist Church Madison. On this special night, our church family comes together to symbolically bring their offerings down to the manger as an act of worship and giving. Each year, FBC members walk to the front of the sanctuary and place their offerings in the manger, all of which go toward supporting Lottie Moon Christmas Offering—a vital resource that helps fund international missions. This meaningful tradition allows us to share the love of Christ with those around the world, embodying the true spirit of Christmas through our generosity and faith.
