Salt and Light Serve Days are a great way to get involved serving in the community. CU Church is helping one of our local ministry partners by serving at Salt and Light’s Urbana location (1819 S. Philo Road. Urbana, IL 61802) on Saturday from 9:00-11:00a. Volunteers will be sorting clothes, emptying collection bins, and helping with donation intake and other tasks. This Salt and Light Serve Day will start with a brief meeting with their staff. They will ask volunteers from CU Church to consider becoming more regularly involved and provide opportunities on how to get started.
