PAINTED CHURCHES OF THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY

Join us Tuesday, October 20, for a full day of travel, fellowship and touring as we visit the historic Painted Churches near Schulenburg, Texas. We’ll travel together by church van, enjoy a guided tour of several historic churches and stop for lunch and kolaches along the way.

Proposed itinerary:

8 AM - Meet at FBC Blanco

8:15 AM - Church van leaves for Schulenburg

10:30 AM - Begin guided church tour

11:30 AM - Lunch at The Garden Co. & Café

1 PM - Continue touring churches

3 PM - Stop for kolaches, if time permits

3:30 PM - Depart Schulenburg

5:30–6 PM - Arrive back at FBC Blanco

The cost is $22 per person for the guided tour. Lunch is self-pay.

Space is limited to 11 participants. A $22 payment is required to reserve your spot. Payment can be made online or in the church office. Checks can be made out the Schulenburg Chamber of Commerce
