Join us on Friday mornings for a deep dive into the New Testament scriptures. As we look further into the themes and meanings found throughout the Gospels, Acts, and Epistles, we will glean a greater understanding of God's amazing work through Jesus and the beginning of the Church. Bible studies are one of many ways to gain greater appreciation for God's holy Word which will edify, aid in personal discipleship, and ultimately change lives. Join us for our New Testament study group on Friday mornings in the front lobby from 10 - 11 AM. We hope to see you there!

Men’s Tuesday Nights at Illuminate are back starting September 9, 2025! Each week, we will explore Scripture in a large-group study format, diving deep into God’s Word together. Then, we’ll break into small table groups for honest, practical conversations and the personal application of His Word. It’s a space for men to grow in their faith, be sharpened by other men, and find genuine, authentic community here at Illuminate. Come hungry, come expectant, and come ready to be challenged and encouraged as we pursue Christ together each week. If you plan to attend, we kindly ask that you REGISTER for this group so we have an accurate headcount for food and seats. We look forward to seeing everyone there as we grow together in Christ!
Have you ever deeply pondered what God is passionate about? If you knew the answer, how would that impact your daily life? Jeff Lewis, the author of God’s Heart for the Nations, has trained indigenous mobilizers and developed field strategies in over 36 countries. He taught for 23 years at California Baptist University and Oklahoma Baptist University and has planted and pastored churches in Pennsylvania and California. Jeff set out on a three-year journey through Scripture and prayer to discover what burdens God’s heart. He concluded that Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, clearly establishes that God’s heart is for His name and His renown to be known among all nations, and His story is a story of redemption, as God is creating a people for Himself from every nation, people, tribe, and language.

Join Pastor Steve as together we study “The Pastorals: Blueprints for Guarding the Gospel,” on Wednesday mornings at 11:00 in Room 203, starting September 17th. The Apostle Paul’s Pastoral Letters (1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus) offer practical blueprints for how a healthy church should function, addressing topics like public worship, leadership roles, serving one another, and how to guard the gospel from error and false teaching. The Pastorals connect sound doctrine to personal holiness, demonstrating that right belief should lead to righteous living. We’ll also find a new place for lunch right after the study for those who have time for deeper community. Sign up and let Steve know you’re coming!
Many believers wonder why Ecclesiastes is even in the Bible. It seems to offer little hope, but if you read it carefully, it is meant to topple false hopes and leave you with your hopes recalibrate. Join us as we learn to set new eyes on this life and walk in true peace and joy.
This group is designed specifically for men in the business world, aiming to integrate Biblical truths with practical Christian living in the workplace. Together, we’ll study and discuss leadership in the marketplace and explore how these same principles shape and strengthen our marriages, families, and friendships. Our format will include topical discussions and book studies, while also highlighting the power of personal stories. These real-life experiences connect at a heart level and often offer the most meaningful applications. The goal of this group is to learn and apply Biblical leadership principles, raising the bar for how we serve in our professional lives, within our homes, and in our broader culture. At the core of this journey is a desire to build strong peer-to-peer relationships and foster a community of encouragement and accountability.
The Bible says in Romans 12:5, that we are “members of one another.” Membership will help you to deepen your passion for Jesus Christ and the Illuminate Community Church family. Membership demonstrates that commitment in a local church is a two-way street. Committing yourself to a body of believers is weighty, but it’s also wonderful. Join us on April 12th at 9:30am to learn more about Membership at Illuminate.
