Our speakers this year are a mother-daughter team with deep ministry experience and a steady commitment to teaching God’s Word. Denise Wendorff leads Women and Community at The River Church South Bay. She has served in women’s ministry at churches like Saddleback and Willow Creek and helped create the Doing Life Together Bible studies. She and her husband planted The River ten years ago and raised three adult children. Her daughter, Brooke Andrews, brings a clear focus on discipleship and practical teaching. She has served at The River for more than 16 years, teaches at Biola University, and works with the Luis Palau Association to support churches and share the Good News. Brooke and her husband are raising three young kids in the South Bay.
