International Neighbors is seeking help with transportation. They are looking for volunteers to bring women and take them home from the meeting at the International Neighbor's office. The address is 224A 9th Street (near the hospital). The ladies meet on Wednesday, March 19th from 11am to 1pm. 

This is the third cohort of the STEPS (Support, Trust, Empower, Perseverance, Strength) program, International Neighbors' support group for refugee women. Each month refugee ladies hear from counselors from the Women's Initiative, learn about Charlottesville resources, practice English, and enjoy fun activities such as yoga and art together. It's a wonderful, encouraging time to share with each other and feel known and cared for in their new community.
