05 - How Does Forgiveness Work?

God is a God who forgives, even the most heinous, immoral, and barbaric person to whom He grants repentance. What that means, in practical terms, is that if God so graciously forgives spectacular sinners, then He can and He will forgive ordinary sinners like us. And if God is willing to forgive even the most reprobate among us, shouldn’t we as Christ-followers also be willing to do the same—especially those who confess their guilt and repent?

01 - What Is A Christian?

What it means to be a Christian has changed over the years. Many people think that going to church on occasion or simply believing in God makes them a Christian. But the Bible presents a different perspective on what a Christian is and a different definition for what it means to be a Christian. To God’s way of thinking, any person bearing the name Christian is expected to live up to the lofty standards of that name set by Christ himself. It isn’t question about identity. It’s a question about affiliation. A good name means a good reputation. It signifies a good character. If we affiliate ourselves with Christ—and adopt his name as our own—it is incumbent upon us, then, to honor it by how conduct ourselves in the eyes of a watching world.

02 - Should Christians Be Judgmental?

In the Lord's Sermon on the Mount, he said, “Judge not, that you be not judged,” (Matt. 7:1). It is a statement that is cited often when confronting someone over sin. But if ever there was a verse in the Bible that has been bastardized and abused—by both unbeliever and believer alike—this is it. But understanding the proper rules and principles of biblical interpretation will safeguard against misquoting Jesus and what he intended to say. So what are the rules and principles of biblical interpretation? What did Jesus mean when he commands us not to judge? Does this forbid Christians from speaking out against the sin—be it the sins of the culture or of others?

03 - Is The Resurrection Believable?

What evidence is there, if any, for the resurrection of Jesus Christ? Apart from the testimony of Scripture and the testimony of countless changed lives, there three lines of evidence, specifically, that converge to prove the resurrection infallibly and incontrovertibly—the empty tomb, the eyewitnesses, and the changed lives of the disciples.
