How do you feel when people talk bad about you behind your back or accuse you of being a second-rate Christian? When it comes to responding honorably to the dishonorable slander leveled against a believer's character, the apostle Peter gives Christians their marching orders: “Keep your conduct ... honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God” (1 Pet. 2:12). Considering Peter’s words, are you prepared to do good to those who defame you if only to "silence their ignorant talk" about you (1 Pet. 2:15)?
