We speak peace over Jerusalem

We speak peace over the land . Psalm 122:6-9

Joining with a hosts of Christians from the United Kingdom and overseas, we pray for God's 'shalom' peace over Jerusalem and the land of Israel.

Following the 7th October 2023 attrocities carried out by Hamas against Israel, many Christians have stood in solidarity with the nation of Israel and as Scriptures instruct us, prayed for her peace and protection. This extended version incorporates a prayer inspired by Isaiah 61, led by Gordon Beattie, who together with his wife Karen organise and co-lead prayer for Israel, under ICEJ. Together we can speak the heart of God over His people, and over His land.

אנחנו אומרים שלום על ירושלים

Shalom (peace) meaning:

Completeness in number,

Safety and soundness in body,

Welfare, health and prosperity, tranquility and contentment,

Friendship with one another and in covenant relationship with God,

Peace from war, and peacefulness in one's day to day.
