Facilitated by Earl McJett and George Tolson
Meets every Monday (for eight weekly sessions), October 21 – December 9, 7:00 – 9:00pm via Zoom.
There has never been a significant movement of God without the involvement of laity, moving disciple-making beyond the walls of the Church. God is at work, where we work, regardless of what that “work” is. As multipliers, we are intentionally integrating our faith and influence into our workplaces, making disciples and unleashing the Kingdom of God wherever we as believers are, using whatever career or areas of influence we are led into.
Your place of work – be it at home caring for children, in an auto repair shop, in the C-suite at a large corporation or as a barista in a coffee shop – is your mission field, your marketplace, and as such is unique to you. But we were never meant to help bring God’s kingdom to earth on our own. Through this eight-week class, believers will discover how the Spirit of God wants to work through each of us to help us better engage with our community, to create deeper connections with our neighbors, to serve our co-workers, and, ultimately, to share the love of Christ by utilizing the simple arts of asking questions and loving. When His chosen people step into their God-given mission where we live, work, study, and play, we will truly see a work of God that extends far beyond the four walls of the church.
