Jesus our priest is the secret of our perseverance. Right now, in him, humanity is in the presence of God advocating on our behalf.
We are never alone. The Holy Spirit powerfully communicates to us the very presence of Jesus.
Jesus lived as a man empowered by the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit who dwelt upon Jesus now dwells within his people, empowering their lives.
Because he lived our weakness, Jesus sympathizes with us.
Jesus, whose name means Yahweh saves, saves his people by being our Immanuel, God with Us. He became man, earned righteousness, and died in our place.
