What is Zoom EAL?

Zoom EAL is designed for mothers who want to practice speaking English at the beginner level but are unable to attend an English class in person at Church of the Rock. This is an English conversation class where you can practice speaking English while learning about community resources for you and your family. This is not a grammar class.

You are eligible to participate in this free English class if you are a newcomer to Canada, you are a mother (you have children), and you are do not have transportation to get to an in-person English class at Church of the Rock.

You do not need to be a Christian to participate. Newcomers who are of another religious background, or no religious background are welcome! All you need to participate is a computer. This class will take place using Zoom.
