Rom 12:1-2- (NKJV)- I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Early in my relationship with Jesus I used to tell people that my mind was a bad neighborhood that I didn't need to go to alone. Simply saying there were things I was doing that weren’t going to change if I continued to do them, or spend time with the same people that I used to do them with.

Happy Resurrection Sunday! The 4 Gospels record the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem on the Sunday prior to His crucifixion. Three aspects of His coming to Jerusalem, and the things that transpired between His arrival, His crucifixion, and eventual Resurrection; tell us more than meets the natural eye. These three things, when viewed through spiritual eyes, reveal the Transformation that will take place with His coming Kingdom; and the Transformation that should occur in our lives prior to his return! Look with me if you will at His Procession through the streets of Jerusalem.

Negative thoughts are the preparation for sin. So when they come, we combat them with the Word of God. We store up His word, His promises, & His goodness. We use them to combat the evil that tries to sneak into our thought life and kill, steal and destroy the goodness of what God IS doing in our lives. So we read and study His word, we bind it on our hearts, and proclaim it over our own lives and the lives of our family. We are His people and He is our God! Too many people are in bondage to their negative thinking, irrational assumptions and sinful tendencies.
