God's Grace Is Enough
August 8, 2021 • George & Carolyn Dupree • John 1:16–17
Sometimes it’s hard for us to simply receive God’s grace. Somehow we’re convinced that we have to earn it or at the very least do SOMETHING to justify receiving it. There’s a passage in the Gospel of John that uses this phrase “grace for grace” John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Remember that grace is the enabling power of God so He enables us to humble ourselves and simply receive.
