As Americans and Christians we aspire to several things.

The word aspire is a verb, so it’s an action word and it means to direct one's hopes or ambitions toward achieving something.

The Declaration of Independence – The Constitution – The Pledge of Allegiance & The Apostles Creed are all statements and they are also aspirations, things we hope for and work toward.
