There is often a contradiction between our new identity in Christ and how we think and feel about ourselves, this affects the way we live, it affects our emotions. These emotions don’t need to be removed; they need to be reshaped. God wants to renew our mind by the Word of God. When you know the Word of God you can fight against the contradictions that come to you.
