FAQs:
Will there be childcare available for the weekend?
Childcare will not be provided for the duration of the Freedom Weekend. If you are having trouble finding help for your children, ask around your group! We’ve seen groups band together to help each other in the past and have also seen others who are not participating in Freedom help.
What’s the schedule like for the weekend?
Check-in begins on Friday, May 16, at 6pm in the main lobby. Doors to the Worship Center will open at 6:30pm. We expect to be finished that night around 9:30pm. An optional breakfast will be provided on Saturday, May 17, at 8:15am in the main Lobby, and the first session will begin at 8:45am. We will break around 11:45am for lunch. Our wrap-up celebration will end around 3:30pm.
What should I expect?
The main reason for the Weekend is for you to have an encounter with God. You will receive more prayer over you than you ever have before in a two-day period. There will be several sessions dealing with specific issues. We ask that whether you are struggling with a certain topic or not, go down for prayer each time at the end of each session. Come ready to see the Lord do great things! Though the contents of the weekend are not a secret, we’d rather not spoil it. I do say, however, that we serve an almighty God, so set your expectations high!
What if I can’t afford the cost of the Weekend?
We believe that the Weekend is a valuable investment in your walk with Christ and urge you to make the commitment to go. If you cannot afford the total amount, we ask that you consider making some financial investment, if possible. If you are at a place of serious financial struggle, please let your Freedom Leader know and they will contact us.
