Chapter 25 - Half In Is Half Miserable
July 14, 2024 • Hunter Wheatcraft • Mark 10:13–31
This weekend, we return to The Story, with Hunter Wheatcraft bringing a message from Chapter 25. Jesus teaches that the Kingdom of God belongs to those who receive it like children, challenging a rich man's understanding of goodness and eternal life. Join us next weekend at The Branch Church and invite your friends and family! 3. Thriving in the Real World
January 22, 2023 • Chris Seidman
A lot of us tend to compartmentalize our relationship with God from “life in the real world.” It’s as though we have our “spiritual” lives and then our “secular” lives. But from the beginning, our “life in the real world” was meant to be a part of our relationship with God. This understanding has everything to do with “flourishing” in the real world.
3. For Children
December 11, 2022 • Chris Seidman
Take out a current picture of your child or grandchild for the prayer time this weekend as we’ll consider how Jesus has made history for children. You’ll appreciate the impact of His teaching about kids in the Gospels when you hear a little more about the world in which Jesus spoke it. And history tells the story of what a difference Jesus made for kids, and still does today.
Who's the Parent?
August 15, 2021 • Alexis Hall • Philippians 2:8, Matthew 18:1–4, Matthew 19:13–15, Matthew 16:23, Matthew 11:25–28
Jesus says in Matthew 18 to be humble like a child. This weekend, our Kids Ministry Director, Alexis Hall, teaches us what it means to have complete dependence and trust in God. Being reliant on God to tell us who He is and who we are. This means realizing who’s who -- who is the child and who is the parent.
