This Christmas tale is not a sappy work of fiction. Despite the scandal, stigma, and genuine fear, hope emerges as a powerful force. Christian hope carries a unique potency as it can redeem and reconcile even the most challenging situations and shattered lives. God's birth was into poverty and surrounded by fear and violence, yet he conquered them with love. This message is still relevant today. In a world full of fear, love always emerges victorious.
