Baby Dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents make a commitment before the Lord to submit their child to God’s will and to raise that child according to God’s word and God’s ways. Our next Baby Dedication will be held on Sunday, February 22 at 2:30pm. At TrueNorth Church, we believe child dedication is an important step and should not be taken lightly. Parents who dedicate a child are making a promise to the Lord to do everything within their power to raise their child in a godly way until he or she can make a decision on their own to follow God. We require first-time TrueNorth Baby Dedication parents to attend our Baby Dedication Parent Class, taught by Pastor Steve Davis, so our staff can get to know you better. It also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and have a better understanding of the commitment you are about to make. Our goal is to stand alongside you as you parent your child, providing tools which guide them in loving the Lord. If you have previously participated in a TrueNorth Baby Dedication, you will need to register for Baby Dedication, but will not need to attend the class. Baby Dedication Parent Class will be held Sunday, February 15, at 12:30pm. Childcare will be provided, but you must indicate that need on your registration.
